Today May 26 was held in the Social Hall of the Students the Sixth Edition of “Small Great Inventions”, a competition that encourages participation in scientific projects, working the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Valencia – Valencia Demarcation (COIICV-DV)
The event aims to enhance the interest of students in science, technology and entrepreneurial values. Projects must be related to the areas of knowledge of scientific and technological studies taught at the UPV: architecture and construction; sciences; agrifood and forestry; industrial engineering and aeronautics; information technology and communications, or biomedical engineering.
UPV is an innovative University at the service of society and its progress, excellent in professional training and research. For this reason, projects must reflect this double idea, and be both time and made excellent service oriented society and its progress.
This initiative is aimed at students of 4th of ESO, 1 secondary and vocational training of average degree of Valencia, which is due to present a model, a prototype, an invention, an experiment, a toy or any other initiative Original keeping the theme of science and technology.
Contest winners will be awarded with 500 euros each. Each prize will be distributed by allocating 100 euros for each student involved in the project and 100 euros for the tutor.
