On Friday, January 26, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Conservation and Restoration Professionals, a talk took place at the Casa del Alumno “Cervcerencia”. The participants included Nacho Baños (Nacho Guitars) and José P. García (Vice Chancellor for Planning, Academic Offer, and Digital Transformation). The discussion focused on Nacho Baños’s vintage guitars and their artisanal aging.
In his tireless commitment to capturing the essence of classical guitars, Nacho Baños dedicates his efforts to building contemporary instruments that embody the nostalgia and authenticity of bygone eras. To achieve this, his finishing and aging processes, involving professionals in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, are designed to impart a unique character to each Telecaster.
The event was organized by the UPV’s Art and Heritage Fund Area and was sponsored by Mahou.
