Today, on the ground floor of the Student Recreation Cente, has taken place the first “Conversing, Preserving” Conference, organized by the Art and Heritage Fund of the UPV on the occasion of the European Day of Conservation and Restoration. gathered both artists, curators and restorers and interested public to share aspects related to the conservation and restoration of contemporary artworks. This colloquium has had a relaxed atmosphere in which the participants have been invited to a small lunch.
Javier Chapa, a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, was among the invited guests; Mª Victoria Vivancos, director of the UNESCO Forum University and Heritage Forum; Rafael Calduch, plastic artist; Víctor Vivero, urban artist and Toni Colomina, conservator-restorer of the Art and Heritage Fund Area.
