From today until October 2, the exhibition of the selected works from the XX Artistic Creation Contest, organized this year, will be on display on the ground floor of the Student Recreation Center.
Today at 12:00 PM, the awards ceremony for the 20th Artistic Creation Contest was held in the hall of the Student Recreation Center. The event was attended by the authors of the selected works and some members of the jury.
After the awards were handed out, members of the rector’s team addressed the attendees. Finally, the participants showed their works to the jury and the rest of the attendees.
Last Thursday, September 4th, the “Welcome Day” organized by Erasmus Student Network Valencia UPV took place at the Student Recreation Centre, where exchange students for the first semester were welcomed with music and paella.
Last Friday, September 5th, the welcome event for new master’s students took place at the Student Recreation Centre, with the presence of the rector, Pepe Capilla, several vice-rectors, the head of the PIAE+ program, and the professors in charge. The rector welcomed the new students and thanked them for choosing the UPV to pursue their studies.
After evaluating all the submitted works, the jury has decided to award the prizes to the following works and has also selected several for the exhibition that will be held at the Student Recreation Center from Wednesday, September 10 to Saturday, October 4, in the lobby of the ground floor of the building.
A period of 10 days, from July 25 to August 8, is established to present objections to the proposed resolution.

Today, July 22, 2025, the provisional list for the Artistic Creation Contest at the Casa del Alumno has been published.
Today was celebrated the National Day of Saudi Arabia in the Student Recreation Centre. The activity organized by Saudi students at the UPV, has shown the typical drinks and culture of this immense Arab country.

Today, the exhibition of the AIDA NGO was inaugurated, presenting the Konngol Rewbe art exhibition created from a photo exhibition of women from the rural world of Kolda, in southern Senegal.
A group of artists have reinterpreted these images of women and created works of art to share their message with other women around the world, thus fostering a network of mutual support in the fight for a more just and egalitarian world.
The exhibition is located in the lobby of the first floor of the Student House, and can be visited until October 2, at the opening hours of the building.
