There is little left for Christmas! In the Student Recreation Center we prepare ourselves by decorating and assembling the tree.

10th NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF ASSOCIATIONS OF STUDENTS AND CHINESE RESEARCHERS OF SPAIN

Last weekend of November 25 and 26 the 10th National Assembly of Student Associations and Chinese Researchers of Spain was held at the Casa del Alumno.

Organized by the Association of Chinese Students and Researchers in Valencia, and with the collaboration of the Vice-rectorate of Students, Culture and Sports, as well as the Embassy of China in Madrid.

More than 90 students from 22 universities participated in the assembly.

It was attended by the Head of Educational Affairs: Ms. Ms. Zhong Xiwei of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Madrid.

International Day of the Fight against AIDS 2017

Under the motto “#MyRigthToHealth”, The Student House The UPV will carry out different activities to inform the university community about the risks and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections.

From 27 November to 1 December, an exhibition on “Enfasis, de Historias de Vidha” with information on each of these infections, as well as risks and treatments, is distributed on the ground floor of the Student House.

On December 1st there will be various activities organized by the Red Cross in the Agora.

Also volunteering with the “Healthy Carret” campaign, in which promotional and informative material is distributed. Students who approach the “Healthy Carret”, participate in the drawing of four sweatshirts of the UPV. The schedule of the “Healthy Carret” will be from 09:00 to 21:00 hours.

Do not know who you expose when you have unprotected sex? With the information that the volunteers will distribute, they will solve those doubts. Do not cut yourself! Come to the “Healthy Carret” and ask!

(Español) El Talento de la UPV 2017

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has opened the process of
selection for your Talent Recruitment day, which will take place on
next November 30.

In order to participate, candidates must pass all four phases
eliminatory of this third edition of the QdaT program, initiative
promoted by the UPV, through the Integrated Employment Service (SIE) –
which aims to promote the talent of its students before
top national and international companies.
The first of the phases consists of filling in the personal data
and send the curriculum.

Best Valencia 2017

Yesterday at the Student’s house, the Best Valencia competition took place, where they strive to broaden the horizons of the labor market by creating opportunities through events related to engineering (job fairs, company visits, workshops).

BEST, Board of European Students of Technology, is a non-profit, politically independent and constantly growing organization. Since 1989 BEST has provided communication, cooperation and exchange opportunities for students from all over Europe.

The International Day of Trans Memory

Today. November 20, we remember the International Day of Trans Memory (TDoR). It is a day dedicated to the memory of those people who have been killed, victims of transphobia, hatred and fear of transgender and non-conventional gender, as well as to remember the ongoing violence suffered by the transgender community.

University Donor Day

One more year, from the Casa del Alumno in collaboration with the Transfusion Center of the Valencian Community, the blood donation campaign begins.

This year it takes place on November 22 from 09: 30-21: 00

Thanks to the volunteering of the students, promotion will take place throughout the campus of Vera.

30 years of the Erasmus+

Yesterday, November 13, the commemorative event for 30 years of the Erasmus + Scholarships was held at the Casa del Alumno, where there was an art exhibition by the Erasmus students, accompanied by a good paella and a cake by the collective to do mouth to the performance of the Bangoo group.
