World AIDS Day HIV
On the occasion of the commemoration of World AIDS Day HIV, from the House of the Student we will carry out an exhibition of UNAIDS posters with the slogan:
“End inequalities. End AIDS. End pandemics.”
This year we want to highlight the urgent need to end the inequalities that drive AIDS and other pandemics around the world.
Without bold action against inequalities, the world is at risk of falling short of the goals of ending AIDS by 2030, as well as a protracted COVID-19 pandemic and a deepening social and economic crisis.

Activity View Best València UPV
This weekend the View Best València 2021 activity was held at the Casa del Alumno.
VIEW (Valencian Innovative Engineering Week) is the new project in which BEST Valencia is embarking, which seeks to offer a meeting point for students of the Polytechnic University of Valencia with this same institution, other groups or non-governmental organizations with an important technological component and companies in the sector.
Retro Hell Jam
This Friday, November 26 at 10:00 in the morning, the Retro Hell Jam will take place in the Ximo Mora Room of the Casa del Alumno, at the UPV.
Do you like the world of videogames? You are an artist? Do you like programming? In Retro Hell Jam you will create a video game in one day.
It is the perfect opportunity to have fun and meet people in a competitive environment. In 12 hours, teams of developers and artists must create a video game with the given theme. The winner will be decided at the end of the day.
You can create your team in advance or let us assign one to you. Not having a team is not an excuse!

DESIGN A FOLDING SCREEN CONTEST | Awards
Last Friday, November 19, the prizes for the Design of a Screen Contest were presented by Salomé Cuesta, Vice-Rector for Art, Science, Technology and Society and Professor Ana María Torres Barchino.

UPV I love you green exposition
Today, November 15, the exhibition of the posters “UPV I love you GREEN” made by students of the Degree in Design and Creative Technologies was inaugurated.
The exhibition will be open to the public until Friday, November 19 in the Sala Ximo Mora on the second floor of the Casa del Alumno.
The opening hours will be from 09:00 to 18:00.
Blood Donor Day UPV 2021
On Wednesday November 17, as in previous years, the UPV and the Valencian Community Transfusion Center invite the entire university community to participate in donating blood.
There will be the participation of students from the UPV Volunteer Exchange who will inform about the importance of donating blood to their colleagues, and will resolve any doubts that may arise during the day.
Donation hours will be from 09:00 to 20:30 hours, on the ground floor of the Casa del Alumno.
Become a volunteer for the promotion of the UPV Blood Donor Day.
Sign up for the volunteer bag of the Vice-Rector’s Office for Art, Science, Technology and Society.
If you are already registered, you just have to sign up for this volunteer program.
A skills workshop is planned to carry out the promotion.

Halloween in the Student Recreation
From 26th October to 2nd November the Casa del Alumno will be decorated for Halloween.
Come and see the decorations!
On 28th and 29th October, and 2nd November, there will be a spooky game going on around the Pupil House. If you pass, you will be rewarded with some great prizes.

Journeys Student Forum de ENHANCE
Today the Jordadas del Student Forum of ENHANCE was inaugurated at the Casa del Alumno. This activity is part of the “ENHANCE goes to UPV” program, where for three days, representatives of the government, internationalization, management teams and students from the main European technological universities meet at the UPV campus
The opening of the first session has been in charge of the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Communication of the UPV, José F. Monserrat, the Vice-Rector for Students and Entrepreneurship, Esther Gómez, and Nuria Llobregat, Director of the Internationalization Area and head of the project at the UPV
