On Friday, May 9, the “Conscious and Sustainable Fashion: A Coffee for Reflection” session was held at the Ximo Mora Room in the Student Recreation Centre. This participatory event, promoted by the UPV’s Office of the Vice-Rector for Art, Science, Technology and Society as part of the 2025 P_CC call, invited the university community to reflect on fashion consumption habits and their social and environmental impact.
The morning session (9:00 to 12:00) featured brief talks and interactive group dynamics, fostering open dialogue and shared learning. Speakers included experts such as Beatriz García Ortega, Javier Galán García, Rosario Perelló Marín, Conrado Carrascosa López, and Ciaran Armstrong.
The event provided a warm, reflective space over coffee, reinforcing UPV’s commitment to sustainability and more responsible models of production and consumption.
