On the occasion of the LGTBI+ International Pride Day, the Student Recreation Centre of the UPV joins once again in the quest for diversity, equality and respect by organizing a day of activities open to the entire university community.
The building of the Student Recreation Centre has become a space for meeting, visibility and celebration, promoting fundamental values such as inclusion, coexistence and freedom of identity. This initiative is part of the regular schedule of activities promoted by the House, which seeks to encourage active participation of students in relevant social issues.
🏳️🌈 Activities and participation We have carried out various participatory actions, among which were:
- Installation of symbolic elements and decoration with the rainbow flag in different spaces of the building.
- Information and awareness point on affective-sexual and gender diversity.
- Collaborative dynamics and open activities aimed at students.
Participation has been very positive, involving both students and associations and groups linked to university life, reinforcing the open and pluralistic character of the Student Recreatin Centre.
💬 Commitment to equality With this celebration, the Student Recreation Centre reaffirms its commitment to creating safe, inclusive and respectful environments for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
This type of initiative helps to consolidate the campus as a space for coexistence where diversity is understood as an enriching value for the entire university community.
📸 Share your experience We encourage all participants to share their photographs and experiences of the day on social media, mentioning the Student’s House, to continue giving visibility to this important day.
