Microengineers: Awareness Days on Rare Diseases

Today, the UPV Student Hub is hosting Microengineers, a day devoted to raising awareness of rare diseases, aimed at bringing the reality of these low-prevalence conditions closer to the university community.

Throughout the day, speakers, researchers, and people living with these conditions will share their experiences, present their lines of work, and address current challenges in the field of rare diseases. The event blends science, awareness-raising, and personal testimony to foster broader social understanding.
In addition, the sessions are being livestreamed, allowing anyone interested to follow along and take part.
With initiatives like Microengineers, UPV reaffirms its commitment to scientific outreach and to giving visibility to realities which, despite their low incidence, deserve the attention of society as a whole.
